A Tweed Disaster

This was my first project ever:

It had a black and brown tweed top. The vest was only attached at the shoulders, then would tie around the waist in the back. Add in the floor length black skirt bottom and shoulder pads and you've got yourself a scary elementary school teacher outfit!





And the after:

I shortened the sleeves, brought up the hem, and took off the scary vest. Next, I took it in, then gave it a v-neck. After pairing it with a black belt and my favorite brown and black shoes I really liked the final product!
